Booting on older ‘non-PAE’ enabled kit:
(PAE = Physical Address Extension and applies to Intel Processor powered machines). This can lead to a message that your machine is not compatible. As a workaround you could follow this advice:

But generally, I would avoid as from experience on older, less than 1 GB RAM you will be on a hiding to nothing!
