DESCRIPTION
TrinityCore is an open source MMORPG Framework based mostly in C++, with a back-end of MySQL for the DB content. It is derived from MaNGOS, the Massive Network Game Object Server, evolving over time since it has become an independent project. It has undergone several changes that have optimized, cleaned up and improved the codebase as well as the in-game mechanics and functionality.
TrinityCore has a database structure composed of the world database, characters database and auth database. It is also cross-platform. Being fully open source, community involvement is highly encouraged to help continuously improve TrinityCore.
