Run gnuvd in OnWorks free hosting provider over Ubuntu Online, Fedora Online, Windows online emulator or MAC OS online emulator

This is the command gnuvd that can be run in the OnWorks free hosting provider using one of our multiple free online workstations such as Ubuntu Online, Fedora Online, Windows online emulator or MAC OS online emulator

gnuvd — Query the online Dutch Van Dale dictionary.

SYNOPSIS


gnuvd [-h] word

DESCRIPTION


gnuvd is a commandline frontend for the online Van Dale dictionary. It will search any word
in the dictionary and return it's description in Dutch.

OPTIONS


-h will show a brief usage message. -k keep html entities (i.e. è)

NOTES


You need to have an active internet connection in order to use this program. Also, if you're
behind a proxy-server, you have to set the http_proxy environment variable as in Lynx.
