PROGRAM:
NAME
tobin - convert a series of files into a series of macbinary files
SYNOPSIS
tobin [-resfilename] [-type4-character-string] [-creator4-character-string] file...
DESCRIPTION
The program tobin reads a series of files and wraps them up in a macbinary wrapper. On
the mac it read the resource fork and file create/type flags from the filesystem (as one
would expect). On non-mac systems (where these concepts do not exist) you may specify
these on the command line with options.
OPTIONS
-res filename
Specify the name of a file from which a "resource fork" should be read. This
argument should precede the data file with which it is associated (if you want a
file with no data fork, you may omit the data file).
-type 4-character-string
Specify the a mac 4 character type string used to tell the finder what kind of file
it is. This argument should precede the data or resource file with which it is
associated.
-creator 4-character-string
Specify the a mac 4 character type string used to tell the finder what application
is associated with this file. This argument should precede the data or resource
file with which it is associated.
