This project in no way aims to replace pdfcrack. The gui is 100% reliant on pdfcrack itself.
To execute from the command line :
> ./pdfcrackgui
If the program does not run after download, be sure to make both pdfcrack and pdfcrackgui are executable :
>chmod +x *
Beta released 10th May 2014. v1.1 released July 5th 2017:
1) User can now abort a decryption attempt and have the progress saved to 'savedstate.sav', as with pdfcrack itself.
2) Timers added
3) If the program is closed, any resources and running processes are now freed
