A reference client implementation for the playback of MPEG DASH via JavaScript and compliant browsers. If your intent is to use the player code without contributing back to this project, then use the MASTER branch which holds the approved and stable public releases. If your goal is to improve or extend the code and contribute back to this project, then you should make your changes, and submit a pull request. dash.js is an initiative of the DASH Industry Forum to establish a production quality framework for building video and audio players that play back MPEG-DASH content using client-side JavaScript libraries leveraging the Media Source Extensions API set as defined by the W3C. The core objectives of this project are to build an open source JavaScript library for the playback of DASH. Supports a wide array of features including in-band events, multiple-periods and cross-browser DRM.
