DESCRIPTION
GMLP is a small API (600 lines) for processing markup from one language to another implemented in PHP. It is designed to not know nor care about what a markup language is. What GMLP does is to parse a number of newline terminated strings and output them through a set of Regular Expressions that define the from and to markup language.GMLP is now an "any input text" to "any output text" processor. Example definition files are provided for CSS minify/un-minify, search and replace and Javascript syntax highlighting in less than 200 lines!
GMLP was designed for you to write your own conversion table based on Regular Expressions.
A definition file is a single PHP file with an associative array for the "design" of a markup language.
Markdown, BBCode, HTML2MD, TXT2MD, CSS minify/unminify, strip comments, and more definition files are defined.
