Soldering Iron Driver is a HW/SW project to controll cheaply available soldering iron handpieces allowing user to have a professional level soldering station for the cost of a handle and few readily available parts.SID is tested with

SID display's data on 16x2 LCD, it has USB port (used attm only for bootloader) and it outputs debug info on serial port of the mcu. It features fully tunable (no auto tuning so far) PID controller for the tip temperature.
