A device driver for the "HID-COM" USB-to-RS232 adapters for Windows 7.These Adapters identify themselfes as manufactured by Cypress Semiconductors (VID:PID=04B4:5500) but obviously they are not.
This project implements an user-mode (UMDF) driver for Windows 7, 64-bit, for such devices.
This is an application that can also be fetched from https://sourceforge.net/projects/hidcom-umdf/. It has been hosted in OnWorks in order to be run online in an easiest way from one of our free Operative Systems.
