DESCRIPTION
This is software for Linux that can be used to download statistics, to track the progress and validation of your tasks and to help formatting your results from World Community Grid when posting on their forum. (World Community Grid — https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org — is a site for volunteer computing to aid scientific research projects, powered by the BOINC app.)
Statistics include your personal totals such as runtime, points and the number of results and your totals per project.
Statistics and data may also include the presence of tasks on your device(s).
You can use some of these tools to record your personal and your team's statistics into a database.
With one of these tools ("wcgresults") it is even possible to monitor the progress of tasks on your local device without the use of programs like the BOINC Manager.
The documentation for the programs can be found at the Wiki pages of this project. Please read it.
Features
- A tool to retry current file transfers without the need to click the "Retry Now" button.
- There is no GUI involved in any of these "WCGtools".
