This software is intended for proofreaders, academics and postgrad students.Many researchers these days use some excellent tools to manage the bibliography, however, adoption of these tools is not universal. In many cases, after doing a lot of rewriting in a limited time, the in-text citations and references at the end of the paper might get out of sync. Some references could be missing, and some might be included but not actually cited in the text. Checking all citations and references manually would require a lot of time and effort - that's something you would rather avoid when the deadline is near.
Whether you are a researcher or a proofreader, this tool gives you the ability to quickly diagnose problems in the bibliography. It still requires a bit of clicking, but much less than if you were searching the document in a conventional way.
Installation instructions: just download "refs checker v1_01.zip" on a Windows PC, unzip and run.
