Experts System (CLIPS) - PC Guide

DESCRIPTION:

The project was to develop an Expert System in CLIPS

It had to make use of an knowledge base as well as an inference engine to find the shortest, correct path through the knowledge base to assist the user with the question he / she has

The system was split into two separate parts. The first part was a step by step build guide to help any new user assemble his/ her computer from scratch. The guide is comprised of twenty step by step entries on how to set up the pc

The second part was a Question and Answer section that was focused on troubleshooting. This part of the system would ask a question to the user and, according to the answer, respond with the next question or answer. This is done by using a inference engine that I designed along with the knowledge base and search tree to interrupt and use the input provided as an answer to the question.
