Good Looking Quake
DESCRIPTION
Good Looking Quake is a very conservative source port of Quake. It is designed for those who grew up playing the original DOS Quake and wish to preserve that specific look and feel, as much as possible.
It contains quality of life features such as expanded limits, BSP2 support, OGG playback, uncapped framerate and the ability to play many quakespasm mods. It also is compatible with the Quake remaster data.
Unlike the DOS version, you cannot minimise or maximise the HUD. Good Looking Quake is designed with the complete HUD as standard. While the CVARS exist for this purpose still, any issues arising from it will not be accepted as bug reports. No window mode exists and it will auto-detect your fullscreen resolution by default and scale accordingly.
Dependencies for Linux binaries are SDL2. Make sure you have them installed.
Good Looking Quake is a Linux only source port.
