Basierend auf dem "Der Herr der Ringe" TableTop-Spiel von Games Workshop ist HdRAV eine freie und kostenlose Armee-Verwaltungs-Software, welche auch eine Wissens-Datenbank beinhaltet.Es besteht die Möglichkeit einzelne Regeln, Zauber, etc. nachzuschlagen, sowie die Daten der einzelnen Modelle anzuschauen.
Des Weiteren kann man einzelne Truppen generieren, welche sich zu einer kompletten Armee zusammenfügen lassen.
Man kann seine einzelnen Armeen und Truppen verwalten, sowie ein Kampfblatt ausdrucken, was alle benötigten Informationen für einen Kampf beinhaltet, sodass man nicht jedes Mal die kompletten Regelbücher mit tragen muss, sodern nur seinen Ausdruck aus HdRAV, wo alles benötigte darauf steht.
