A quick afternoons coding:I was building a website and wanted to check if google ads were working on the page, but I have long been a user of the hosts file and was using this to block a whole lot of ad servers.
to make it easier to switch between showing ads (for web dev work) and blocking ads (for personal browsing) i came up with this idea.
The program has a set of preconfigured hosts files that can be quickly swapped to enable or disable certain domains.
written in python (3.3).
compiled using cx freeze.
