DESCRIPTION
USB-based oscilloscopes, e.g. SainSmart DDS line, offer functionality for small money. But functionality is limited and hard to use because of number of bugs and defficiences. Here is an attempt to fix some of them by providing an alternate view for client softwareFeatures
- Support for SainSmart DDS140 + Logic Analyzer module
- Supported both oscilloscope and logic analyzer modes (though oscilloscope mode is far from complete)
- Acquisition frequencies: 39k, 625k, 10M, 100M
- Zoom (powers of ten fractions of a second or samples), zoom with mouse wheel at mouse position
- Panning (drag the mouse), scrolling (scroll-bar) of the analyzer readings pane or set exact position
- Cursor position, absolute and relative
- Trimming of the constant data at both ends of the data stream
- Visual indication of the lost data (DDS140 looses data coming during USB transmission)
- Channels are color coded in accordance to stock probe wire color. In addition you can give them custom names
- UI setup saved and restored on restart of the application
- Data could be saved and loaded (timing stats become irrelavant, bugfix needed)
- BSD license
This is an application that can also be fetched from https://sourceforge.net/projects/logic140/. It has been hosted in OnWorks in order to be run online in an easiest way from one of our free Operative Systems.
