DESCRIPTION
MapPoint is an app that uses an online interactive map to find nearby facilitiesincluding restaurants, banks, parking, etc. with surrounding nearby addresses.
With Google API key, can also display street view photos if available once a point has been selected.
The app starts the map from the current location. If the wanted destination is out of view,
the map can be dragged until the destination is in view. After tapping on the point of destination,
a selection of facilities can be chosen including
Car parking, Fuel station, ATM, Restaurant, Bank, Toilet, Train station, Shopping Mall, Coffee shop,
Bar, Cinema, Police station, Medical Clinic, Hospital, Park, Supermarket, Hotel, Beach, Library, School,
Playground, College. A list of near locations will be listed for the chosen facility. With the chosen
point, the map will be centred to this location with nearby information such as address and street view screenshots.
Mappoint is open source license for free download and use.
