Nostalgic Photo DataBase (platform)
DESCRIPTION
NPDB provides the platform for the creation and further maintenance of the database of jpeg images and querying (searching in) it according to a bunch of customizable tags. Suits for any age of original images (including digitized by scanners). Introduces an absolutely arbitrary system of tags. Due to the usage of embedded SQL database the user receives searching results almost immediately. The searching request may be based either on tags or on a free text. Both run as SQL query. Developed mainly on C++ using 3-d party Exiv2 and SQLite libraries. NPDB was developed on Linux (Ubuntu) and can run also on Windows via WSL and Chrome OS.
