OMPrisma is a library for spatial sound synthesis, embedded in the computer-aided composition environment OpenMusic. As a superset of sound synthesis classes in OMChroma it constitutes a framework to combine sound synthesizers with spatialization engines in an arbitrary fashion, considering spatial attributes at the synthesis level. OMPrisma provides high-level control structures to perform spatial sound synthesis processes at arbitrary scales and complexities. The control of spatial parameters can be integrated with processes developed in OpenMusic in relation to other sound synthesis parameters and to the symbolic data of a compositional framework.Features
