Wine is a way to run Windows software on Linux, but with no Windows required. Wine is an open-source Windows compatibility layer that can run Windows programs directly on any Linux desktop. Essentially, Wine is trying to re-implement enough of Windows from scratch so that it can run all those Windows applications without actually needing Windows.

Reconcile: Web Credibility Evaluation


DESCRIPTION:

The goal of the project is the creation of new mechanisms for supporting users in the evaluation of Web content credibility and improvement of the quality of Web content credibility evaluation.
Our society increasingly relies on the vast amount of information available on the Internet. As a consequence, the issue of judging or evaluating the credibility of this information becomes of crucial importance. Thus, algorithms and mechanisms for the assessment of credibility of Web content can have a great, positive social impact.

Dataset from our mTurk studies is now available for public use! Our dataset contains 15750 evaluations of 5543 pages from 2041 participants with some additional information about website characteristics and basic demographic features of users.

This is an application that can also be fetched from https://sourceforge.net/projects/reconcile2011/. It has been hosted in OnWorks in order to be run online in an easiest way from one of our free Operative Systems.
