DESCRIPTION

This is a Units Editor for Empire At War which will make things easy. It was originally created for RAWEdit by Meister Reporter to automate some things of the Modding process.

  • Loading SpaceUnits from XML
  • Editing Hardpoints of a SpaceUnit
  • Exporting Hardpoints to a file
  • Avarage damage calculation of all Hardpoints in one Unit
  • Insert tag content in a certain Hardpoint range
  • Autogenerated Hardpoints
  • Exporting Units into a XML File
  • For a selected Projectile of a Hardpoint the Editor will automatically choose a Tooltip Text and Fire Sound defined in two text Files (Examples can be found in the Wiki)
  • The Editor warns the user about errors, game limitations etc. (not all errors can be detected, because of the bad game documentation)
  • Text, Descriptions and Class Names can be viewed and edited inside the Units Editor
  • The Unit icon can be viewed and replaced/added inside the Units Editor
  • Adding and Editing Text (.DAT) Files directly in the Editor
  • Adding Unit Image (.MTD) Files directly in the Editor
  • Automatically insert SFX names and Tooltip Descriptions into the Hardpoint
