PROGRAM:
NAME
mia-meshdistance-to-stackmask - Evaluate the distance between a binary shape given as
reference and a mesh.
SYNOPSIS
mia-meshdistance-to-stackmask -i <in-mesh> -r <ref-mask> -o <out-mesh> [options]
DESCRIPTION
mia-meshdistance-to-stackmask This program takes a binary masks and a triangular mesh as
input and evaluates the distance of the mesh vertices to the binary maskand stores the
result in a new mesh.
OPTIONS
-i --in-mesh=(input, required); io
input mesh For supported file types see PLUGINS:mesh/io
-r --ref-mask=(input, required); io
reference binary mask For supported file types see PLUGINS:2dimage/io
-o --out-mesh=(output, required); io
output mesh For supported file types see PLUGINS:mesh/io

vtk A subset of VTK mesh in-and output: Triangle meshes are written, and triangle
meshes and triangle strips are read. Additional per-vertex attributes are
supported: 'normals', 'colors' for three component colors, and 'scale' for a
scalar value attached to each vertex. The data is written by the
vtkPolyDataWriter in binary format.

EXAMPLE
Evaluate the distance of the mask given in the images maskXXXX.png to the mesh given in
mesh.v and save the result to mesh-dist.v
mia-meshdistance-to-stackmask -i mesh.v -r maskXXXX.png -o mesh-dist.v
